At Postipojankuja 2, the buildings were completed in 1993 and renovated to a like-new condition in 2020. The buildings consist of three-story apartment buildings and ground-level apartments, totaling 42 units, which are mainly two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. As part of the renovation, the apartments received new surfaces, fixtures, and appliances. All apartments are equipped with a dishwasher and a ceramic stove with convection oven.

Mäntylä is about four kilometers from the city center. Nearby areas include Höyhtyä, which is home to Lintulampi School, serving as the local school for the area. Lintulampi School is undergoing renovations in 2022–2023, during which time Oulunsuu School serves as the temporary school for the area. Other nearby areas include Lintula, Hiironen, Kleemola, and Nokela.
A local Sale supermarket, located just across the street from Postipojankuja 2, serves as the neighborhood grocery store. Larger stores can be found on the Limingantulli side, about a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute bus ride away. On the Hiiros side, the nearest Lidl is just a 5-minute drive or a little over a 15-minute walk away.

There are a total of 42 apartments in the buildings, ranging in size from 44 to 73.5 square meters, offering two-bedroom and three-bedroom options. The apartments are suitable for both cohabitants and small families. Pets are welcome, and due to the area’s extensive outdoor opportunities, several pet-friendly features can be found in the buildings.
The floors of the apartments are vinyl planks, and the bathrooms are tiled. The kitchens are equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic stoves, and a fridge-freezer. Water and a 50 Mbit/s internet connection from DNA are included in the rent. Glazed balconies and small apartment patios on the ground floor provide additional comfort and space.
Smoking is prohibited indoors, and there are income limits for all apartments.
