Acquiring keys

You can collect the keys to your new rental home at the start of your lease agreement.  You can find the information about collecting the keys in the appendices to the agreement.

You can request getting the keys from the previous tenant, although we do not recommend it. The key management company must have been officially informed about the return of the keys. Make sure to keep your copy of the key handover certificate.

When you move out of M2-Kodit, hand over all the original keys and potential additional keys. If a key is missing, all locks need to be re-installed and you are liable for the costs incurred. Possible security deposit will be returned after all keys have been returned.

Moving

We always carry out an inspection in the apartment when the tenant changes. If you notice any inadequacies or faults when you move into your apartment, take a photo of them and notify the discrepancies to your maintenance company, for example through our website. You can find the maintenance company’s contact information on the stairway notice board or on the building’s website.
