Vaahteratie 22, located in Päiväranta, Kuopio, is a rental building completed in 2023. The 3-storey block of flats and the 2-storey loft house with lift will have a total of 39 apartments. Located close to Kuopio city centre, the green residential area has good basic services and transport connections. There are excellent communal facilities, as the rent includes a sauna, laundry room and drying room, as well as a living room designed for the use of the residents. Shared facilities for residents are located in the A-house.  The residents have access to individual storage rooms for their personal belongings. There is a separate outbuilding in the courtyard area where outdoor equipment and bicycle storage is located. There is also a children’s playground in the courtyard, where you can spend time together. There are a total of 48 parking spaces for cars, 44 of which are heated. 4 of the parking spaces are suitable for charging an electric car. There are 4 guest spaces for visitors. The house is completely non-smoking. The house has a property limit.

Päiväranta as a residential area

Located on the northern edge of the Puijo recreation area, Päiväranta is a cosy and green residential area just 5 km from the centre of Kuopio. The area consists of small houses and apartment buildings. The area is popular with families with children, with a children’s clinic, day-care centres, a secondary and primary school and a youth centre. Päiväranta also offers a wide range of other basic services. The area has its own convenience store, a kiosk offering postal services, a restaurant, a pharmacy, a veterinary surgery, a petrol station and hairdressers. There is also a K-Citymarket in Päiväranta, where even larger purchases can be made at once.  Located on the shores of the Kallavesi river, the residential area offers its residents nature and peace. A jogging trail, a beach or a boat trip can be reached almost directly from the doorstep. There are also good recreational opportunities. There is a private ball field and a hockey rink at Päiväranta.

Vaahteratie 22 apartments

There are 39 apartments in total. They range in size from 35 to 92 m2 and include one, two, three and four-room apartments for single people, couples and families with children. Pets are also welcome. The accommodation is well designed and comfortable, with materials that are functional. Floors are made of easy-care vinyl plank flooring. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob and dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer as standard. The bathroom has stylish ceramic tiling and space for a washing machine and tumble dryer. The apartments on the 2nd floor of the A and B buildings have glazed balconies. The apartments on the 1st floor of Building B have a private patio. The windows and doors of the apartments have blinds. The rent includes a 50 Mb/s internet connection and use of the shared sauna and laundry facilities. The water fee is €17 per person per month and is charged twice a year according to consumption.
