Six new properties in Klaukkala, Kangasala, Espoo, and Helsinki to be completed by 2024 and 2025

M2-Kodit is currently building six new houses for ARA rental apartments in Klaukkala, Kangasala, Espoo and Helsinki. The properties are expected to be completed in 2024 and 2025. Our goal is to provide high-quality, affordable housing in growth centres across Finland, where there is a shortage of affordable housing.

1. Isoseppälä, Klaukkala

48 apartments, Isoseppälä 10. Construction will start in early 2024 and the building is expected to be completed already during 2024. Purchased from Nuorisosäätiö two years ago, the property is in need of major renovation. In order to be cost-effective, the existing building will be demolished and replaced by a residential building with comfortable apartments and modern building services.

2. Postipuisto, Helsinki

112 apartments, Rullakkokuja 14. Construction underway. The building is expected to be completed in late 2024. The Postipuisto residential area has been designed with a special focus on community. Residents will have access to the Postivarikko residents’ village hall, which has been completed in the area and provides sports facilities, various work rooms and space for parties and events.

3. Nihtisilta, Espoo

68 apartments, Nihtisillankuja 2 H-I. The first project in Espoo will bring affordable housing to a prime location in Espoo, at the intersection of Turunväylä and Ring II. In addition to good transport connections, future residents will be able to take advantage of the developing services in the Kera area.

4. Lamminrahka, Kangasala

29 apartments, Taitajankatu 10. The new residential community in Kangasala offers modern living in a beautiful environment for many life situations, as the apartments range from single to family apartments. Construction has started in early December. The 5-storey building is estimated to be completed in March 2025.

5. Kokinniitty, Espoo

79 apartments, Kokinniitty 3. Another Espoo property complements our offer by providing quality rental apartments in an attractive new residential area in Kokinniitty. The area is located between Suurpello and Olar. The building will house rental apartments ranging from studio flats to family apartments, creating versatile options for rental housing needs at different stages of life. Construction has started. The estimated completion date of the apartments is spring 2025.

6. Kalasatama, Helsinki

M2-Kodit is building an apartment building in cooperation with the Yrjö and Hanna Kodit Foundation in Kalasatama, Helsinki. The building, which will be built in the shape of a horseshoe, will have three staircases with a total of 134 apartments of different sizes. Half of the apartments are affordable M2-Kotie rental apartments and half are Yrjö and Hanna Kodit Foundation’s right-of-occupancy apartments. Construction is underway. The estimated completion date of the apartments is spring 2025.

We will inform those who have subscribed to the email list of the start of the application period. Traditionally, the application period starts 3-4 months before the completion of the apartments.
