Located in Myllykortteli, Lempäälä, Manttaalintie 10 is a 6-storey rental apartment building with a total of 46 apartments to be completed in 2022. The building is one of the three apartment buildings in the block.

The building has excellent shared facilities as the rent includes access to a sauna, a laundry room and a drying room as well as a workshop and a communal space intended for shared use by the residents of the block. The inner courtyard of the building serves as a setting for spending time together and features a playground, a seating area and a barbecue shelter (the playground is reserved for the use of the daycare centre located in the block during its operating hours). Tenants also have access to apartment-specific storage rooms and a separate outdoor equipment storage room located in the inner courtyard.

Myllykortteli as a residential area

In Myllykortteli, where the new apartments are being built, there was once a mill from which the name of the place (Finnish for “mill block”) originates. Lempäälä House, located along Manttaalitie, houses the municipality’s main library, a free meeting place for local families with children, a wellness kiosk, an idea centre for local entrepreneurs and a lunch restaurant suitable for the whole family, among other services. The building’s central location in the heart of Lempäälä guarantees access to services for a variety of needs.

The transport connections are excellent, whether you prefer walking, cycling or travelling by train. The train station is right next to the building. The services in Tampere city centre can be reached in 10 minutes by train and in 25 minutes by car. The bus stop is located around the corner, and the buses operate within Lempäälä and in the direction of Tampere and Valkeakoski. You can also get to Turku easily by bus.

The large and diverse Ideapark shopping centre is a 10-minute drive away and can also be reached in 20 minutes by public transport. In addition to stores and transport connections, the magnificent Lempoisen Uimala beach, which is open all year round, is located within walking distance. In the summer, beach volleyball is played on the beach. There is also a football field right next to the beach.

There are 46 apartments. Their size ranges from 30.5 to 78.0 m2. The apartments include studios and one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments that are suitable for those living alone, couples and families with children. Pets are also welcome.
